Why isn’t NLP working for you?

His email was the way I like them, straight to the point, “Why isn’t it working for me?”

I ask myself, “what is the result I have in mind, but why isn’t it working for me?  (Read Part 1 Here:  The Question)

W did a quick 15 minute coaching call, and what I noticed was this:

1.  Bobby was kept stating what he did NOT want, when answering the question.  “I don’t want to look stupid, and I don’t want to lose money.”

2.  After we killed off that demon, Bobby moved onto the next big mistake.  “I just want things to be different.”

Bobby started out FOCUSED on what he didn’t want, then he was vague.  NOTICE the questions he was using above.

NOW, here is the MASTER KEY:

“To get to the next level, to amp it up a level higher, you MUST be thinking in terms of PRECISE OUTCOMES – with NO NEGATIVES.”

Here are a few examples:

  • “Produce 1 income earning adsense website a week.”
  • “Relax and enjoy the company of a new nice woman every Wednesday evening.”
  • “Exercise 3 times a week, for 12 minutes.”

  • “Start taking karate classes this month.”

Notice how SIMPLE and DIRECT each of those “results in mind” are.

So go read part 1 again and do it!

Trust me, I’ve been doing this for almost 2 decades.  This works.  But it works only if you actually do it.

Good Morning, I do not normally post feedback, as I prefer to read only. However I find NLPlive has very insightful information, and I discover it very informational. I was searching on Google for thoughts on self improvement and discovered you. Could you write an article on fast self improvement?
