Questions that work!

Are you asking powerful questions that work?

Questions tie into our basic nature, which appears to be to grow, evolve and experience.

To deny or stop questioning, is like living a life without a quest. And the quest seems to be what life is made for.

Questions set the direction THE MIND is going to go in.

Druggies ask, “What can I do to get high?” So they will steal your television, borrow your credit card, and do what ever it takes to get high.

More ecological people, using an NLP term here, will remember a HIGH STATE that comes naturally.  Like how great you feel when helping someone who really needs it.  Right now there are a small group of us helping a family who lost everything in a fire, and it feels great for all of us to pull together and make a difference.

We kind of – outside of consciousness, remember the great feeling state that comes from helping, and desire to help  which as a byproduct gives us the high state.

The difference seems to come back to the question. “What can I do to get high?”   That question seems to be a shortcut, and once you have listened to our Know NLP Shortcuts cd in the Moments of Clarity CD set, you will  understand how dangeroushortcuts can be. Check out this BLOWOUT Deal!

Remember when we helped that old lady down the street replace her hearing aids she lost, remember how good we felt?  That is why you’ll find community service junkies. They love helping people, and on some level, they love the way it makes them feel.

And this is why you’ll always find people when they are seeking shortcuts, like drugs, miserable.  They just keep asking the wrong question.

Back to NLP.

The typical psychologist asks questions to get to a diagnosis.

The GOOD NLPer asks questions that change the process the client runs, so their diagnosis and symptoms just go away.

So here are a few, notice how you respond to them¦

1. What questions can you ask to change the process the client or your customer runs?

2. How can you ask questions that will change the process the client runs?

Note: Those are NOT the same question. Try them on, say them out loud, let me know what happens when you do.

And have fun!
