During intensive coaching and training over the past 17 years, we’ve identified 5 primary leaches that show up in peoples thinking, leaches that cost you MILLIONS.
The more these leaches show up, the less personal power, vim and vigor you will have.
How many of these leaches are you letting steal your life force away from you?
And do you know the Simple Secret Power Phrase that will kill these thought leeches dead?
First let’s identify the leaches and give very quick examples so you can identify them in your own thinking.
- I am thinking about. “I am thinking about ordering a cd package that will change my life.”
- I’m planning to. “I am planning on a course of action to take, once my dog doesn’t have fleas.”
- I am going to. “I am going to start building my internet empire.”
- I want to. “I want to be in Remarkable 2008.”
- I need to. “I need to make some changes.”
There are a few reasons why these phrases steal away your dreams, and waste your life force. The obvious one is that they are vague. When people use them, they are lacking in clarity and focus. Without clarity and focus you don’t take action.
Now here is the hidden dynamic that you might not have completely realized:
“These thought leaches put what you would enjoy in life out into the future, and put something “unknown” in between you and you experiencing that enjoyment.”
Every week I work with coaching clients who don’t realize they are using these phrases, because no one ever taught them to notice them, in REAL TIME. All it takes is having them pointed out to you a few times, while you are still using them, and they lose their power quickly.
Then you can start substituting The Secret Power Phrase.
